The Nurse Mentor Training Program Was Held

An eight-hour Nurse Mentor Training Program was organized by the Department of Nursing at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Bartın University, on February 20, 2025. Fifteen volunteer nurses participated in the training. After the program was introduced by the Assistant Chair of the Department of Nursing, Asst. Prof Burcu KÜÇÜKKAYA, various training sessions were provided by different instructors. Lecturer Dr. Simge ÖZTÜRK presented on "Nurse Mentorship," Asst. Prof Hande YEŞİLBAŞ covered "Leadership," Lecturer Eda KES discussed "Conflict Resolution," Asst. Prof Fatma DİNÇ gave a session on "Learning Styles (Cognitive, Affective, and Behavioral Dimensions)," Asst. Prof Emine ÜSTÜN GÖKÇE talked about "Clinical/Field Teaching," and Asst. Prof Duygu ÖZER focused on "Communication." Additionally, Asst. Prof Sibel ALTINTAŞ, Asst. Prof Ecem ÇİÇEK GÜMÜŞ, and Asst. Prof Emine ÜSTÜN GÖKÇE provided a training session on "Evaluation of Clinical/Field Practices" and shared information about professional practice and evaluation forms related to various clinical and field applications.
