The event called "Being a Mother from the Eyes of Mothers and Children" was Held in Our University for Mother's Day

In the special event held at our university on the occasion of Mother's Day, being a mother was told through the eyes of mothers and children.
A meaningful event was held on Mother's Day by the Women and Family Studies Application and Research Center of our University and the Faculty of Health Sciences. The event at the Kutlubey Campus Library Conference Hall attracted great attention. Making the opening speech, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Sevim Çelik of our University stated that motherhood is a sacred profession.
Çelik said, “Mothers have an important place in the future of a society. It is thanks to our mothers that generations can look to the future with hope. Our mothers should be respected. It is our mothers who will carry us to success and lead us to more justice, mercy and compassion.”
In the event, where emotional moments were experienced from time to time, the academic and administrative staff and students of our University took the floor and conveyed their thoughts on “motherhood”. As part of the event, Sümeyra Karadeniz, a student at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Nursing Department, gave her speech titled "Mother Through the Eyes of Children". Stating that motherhood is a very important experience for her, Karadeniz noted that she continued her postponed education with the support of her children.
The feelings and thoughts of the lecturers working at our University were conveyed in the event where the video "Being an Academician Mother" was also screened. The event came to an end after the highly acclaimed music concert.
