Social Work Career Days Webinar was held.

Within the scope of Bartın University Faculty of Health Sciences Career Days, "Social Work Career Day Event" was held on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 11:00. The event was attended by Bartın Violence Prevention and Monitoring Center Director Hatice Şimşek Karataş and Bartın Women's Guesthouse Manager Çiğdem Tekel, Head of Social Services Department Assoc. Dr. It was moderated by Zeynep Turhan.
The key points of career planning in social work were emphasized by referring to the comprehensive study areas of the social work profession, including children, adolescents, adults, elderly, disabled, dependent, sick, convicted individuals, their families, groups and even communities. They talked about the importance of investing in personal and professional development in order to become a qualified social worker and specializing in the direction of lifelong development both during and after the undergraduate education of the students. The speakers, who gave examples from their own experiences, motivated the students to explain the effects of volunteering, participation in internship and abroad programs in the undergraduate education process in terms of career development. The activity was concluded by answering the students' questions about their career development.
