Healthy Nutrition Education for Children on World Obesity Day

Healthy Nutrition Education for Children on World Obesity Day

Within the scope of World Obesity Day, “Healthy Nutrition Education” was organized for children studying at Ağdacı Primary School, Ağdacı Kindergarten, Şehit Senior Lieutenant Aydın Aydoğdu Primary School and Kutlubey Kindergarten under Bartın Provincial Directorate of National Education.

In the event, which was organized with the contributions of 3rd year nursing students, interactive and fun methods were used to teach children healthy eating habits. Within the scope of the training supported by gamification techniques, children learned to distinguish between healthy and unhealthy foods, and had the opportunity to get to know the basic food groups with the activity of creating a balanced nutrition plate.

The event, which was attended with great interest by the little ones, aimed to raise their awareness of healthy nutrition and to ensure that they acquire the right eating habits at an early age. This training, which was implemented with a fun learning method, contributed to children making healthy choices in their daily lives.
