"Domestic Violence and Crisis Intervention" Training

Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Social Work, lecturer Assoc. Dr. Özge Özgür gave "Domestic Violence and Crisis Intervention" training to the professionals working at the Bartın Violence Prevention and Monitoring Center (ŞÖNİM) on May 30, 2023 in order to contribute to the society. In the content of the training, the definition and prevalence of violence against women in the family, crisis and crisis intervention in domestic violence as a type of crisis, security planning, documentation, emotional/psychological evaluation, individual treatment, referrals and the effective behavior of the professional staff during the crisis were discussed. The education process, enriched by mutual interaction, experience and sharing of professional staff, was concluded with a question and answer.
