Disseminating Quality Culture Student Trainings” Held at Bartın University Faculty of Health Sciences

Bartın University Faculty of Health Sciences organized the “Disseminating Quality Culture Student Trainings” event in order to increase students’ awareness of quality culture in higher education.

The program was held on March 9, 2026, at the Conference Hall of Bartın University Ağdacı Campus and attracted significant interest from students of the faculty. The training session, which took place between 14:30 and 15:30, provided students with information about quality processes and the concept of continuous improvement in higher education.

As part of the program, Dr. Necmiye Çömlekçi delivered a presentation titled “Quality and Accreditation in Higher Education.” In her presentation, she discussed the importance of quality assurance systems in universities, accreditation processes, and their contributions to improving the quality of education. She emphasized that quality processes are strengthened not only at the institutional level but also through the active participation of students.

The second speaker of the event, Dr. Ebru Cirban Ekrem, gave a presentation titled “Continuous Improvement in Higher Education.” In her presentation, she highlighted the importance of feedback mechanisms, data-driven evaluations, and student participation in sustaining a quality culture within higher education institutions. She also noted that adopting a continuous improvement approach in educational activities plays a crucial role in institutional development.

The training program aimed to raise students’ awareness about quality assurance processes in higher education and to promote the dissemination of quality culture across the university.

The event concluded with a question-and-answer session, highlighting the importance of quality-oriented institutional development.
