BARÜ "First Aid Trainer Training Center" became the first and only center in the region
Bartın University (BARÜ) became the first and only center in the region authorized by the Ministry of Health as a "First Aid Trainer Training Center."
The First Aid Training Center, which was put into service at Bartın University (BARÜ) this year, was authorized by the Ministry of Health in the field of trainer training. BARÜ, where significant work has been carried out to train the qualified human resources needed in the health field, thus became the first and only center in the Western Black Sea Region. Comprehensive practices will be carried out to save lives or minimize possible dangers at the First Aid Trainer Training Center to ensure qualifications to become first aid trainers. In addition to theoretical training, role-play and case studies on specific scenarios will be carried out to reinforce competencies through studies within the center.

BARÜ Faculty of Health Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Sevim Çelik stated they were happy that the center was approved as a "First Aid Trainer Training Center" by the Ministry of Health just a few months after it was put into service.
Çelik said, "At Bartın University, we set out with the dream of a First Aid Training and Instructor Training Center that would be capable of serving our province and the Western Black Sea region and established our center. As a result of the examinations, we were entitled to receive the 'First Aid Trainer Training Center' certificate from the General Directorate of Emergency Health Services of the Ministry of Health. At our center, our work devoted to being prepared for first aid in all areas of life will continue. Thanks to these thoughts and their support, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mr. Orhan Uzun, and our Provincial Health Director Dr. for his close attention. "I would like to thank Mr. Alpaslan Erol," he said.
Referring to the importance of the authorized center, BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun said, "The natural disasters we have experienced consecutively in recent years have shown that one of the most important needs of society is to train individuals with first aid knowledge and skills. We are taking our goals further in this field, which is important not only for teaching life-saving skills but also for people to help themselves. We are pleased that our University, which trains well-equipped health professionals within the Faculty of Health Sciences and Vocational School of Health Services, has been authorized as a center where trainers are trained in first aid. With these thoughts, I would like to express my gratitude to our Minister of Health, Mr. Fahrettin Koca, who follows us closely and supports us in our march to the future. Our Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof., for his contributions to our institutional progress. Dr. Dear Sevim Çelik, our Provincial Health Director Dr., for his close attention. "I would like to thank Mr. Alpaslan Erol and everyone who contributed," he said.
