An event on 'Breast Cancer Awareness' was held within the scope of October 1-31 Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Every year, October 1-31 is celebrated as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In this context, a seminar on 'Breast Cancer Awareness' was held online on 2024 October 21 at 13.00 with the participation of Prof. Dr. Arzu TUNA, Faculty Member of Balıkesir University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing, moderated by Prof. Dr. Sevim CELIK. Many academicians and students participated in the event. Information on risk factors in breast cancer, the effects of culture on cancer, ways to prevent breast cancer and breast self-examination were given. The event, which continued with the intense interest and questions of the participants, ended with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation by Prof. Dr. Sevim CELIK.
