Bartın University (BARÜ) organized an “Academic Gown and Academic Performance Award Ceremony” to encourage scientific productivity and highlight academic achievements, recognizing academics who have excelled in academic advancement, scientific publications, projects, and innovation. As part of the ceremony, academics working within the Faculty of Health Sciences were awarded prizes in various categories based on their academic performance. The Dean of our Faculty, Prof. Dr. Selçuk BAŞ, received his professor's gown and professorship certificate from the Rector of BARÜ, Prof. Dr. Ahmet AKKAYA.

Within the scope of the Academic Performance Awards, Nursing Department faculty members Dr. Aylin KURT and Dr. Fatma DİNÇ were awarded the gold category prize for their scientific publications and academic productivity. Social Work Department faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Turhan and Nursing Department faculty member Research Assistant Emine Güneş Şan were honored with the silver category award. Nursing Department faculty members Prof. Dr. Sevim Çelik and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elif Karahan were also among the academics who received awards in the bronze category.

Academic performance awards were given based on criteria determined by considering the academics' scientific publications, projects, and academic contributions at national and international levels. These achievements by the academics of the Faculty of Health Sciences once again demonstrated the faculty's scientific quality and research-oriented approach.

Rector Akkaya congratulated the award-winning academics and wished them continued success. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of academic gowns and a commemorative photo session.
